Young People

The focus of Young People Ministry is to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person by showing and teaching them to live out the Word of God. This is in line with Luke 2:52 which says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favour with God and man.”

As such, Young People Ministry should steer towards developing young people who increase in favour with God (spiritually) and man (socially).

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” – 1 Timothy 4:12

As the Bible teaches a faith that is actively working to become more like Christ (James 2:14-26), the primary goal of Young People Ministry should be to develop young people that demonstrate active, disciplined, spiritual maturity.
